Read full review lit a fire of passion in me from day 1 of orientation in the yard. He was like my drill sergeant, a constant reminder of why I decided to drive a truck. Lawrence, put me into focus to always keep going but never burn myself out. James helped me give my in-cab inspection a flow which was not only vital for my test but for my career. Luis kept me calm and leveled while doing maneuvers. Driving a truck can be very intimidating when you have never driven anything remotely that big but his encouragement always gave me confidence. Tony was an excellent instructor on the road. He made me see the road instead of just driving it and that opened a new world for me. Parish was exceptional when it came to driving one on one. He tested me in every way because he knew I was capable which also gave me more comfort. Russel kept me sharpe in all aspects of knowing my truck. He was very by-the-book which was great because he made sure that I always knew the right way of how things went. Of all the instructors at 160, Gerald was by far the one I owe the most thanks to. I can honestly admit if it were not for Gerald I would not have passed. Since the very first day we met on the yard he made sure I would be not only a good driver but a great one. He brought me through the school of hard knocks and because of his guidance I was a success and will continue to be throughout my career. I highly recommend anyone thinking about pursuing a career in the trucking industry to enroll in 160 driving academy. It will change your life as it has changed mine.

The branch manager, Agata, was super helpful throughout the whole process! She really wants you to succeed. The instructors at the yard, for the most part, were helpful as well. Jack, Jim, Frank and Tim are great people and really help you learn from your mistakes.

Really glad Suresh told me to chose 160! The yard lead Frank is down to earth! The instructors were great! Gerald, James, Lawrence, Paris and Louis are the guys I worked with the most! Charlie kept me on point with the road lol.They kept me motivated and helped a lot! Made life long friends and memories! Thanks everyone!

Agata, the branch manager, was 100% professional and a huge asset in my completing the course. As for the instructors, they were all great, but my fave and the true reason why I was able to pass was because of Jack. He took the time and special interest in making sure everyone that he worked with succeeded. Thank you for everything!

Agata, the Branch Manager, was outstanding. Very professional and always greeted you with a warm smile. She Definitely wants you to exceed and will go above and beyond to asstist. The school, All the instructors were nice and always willing to assist. I would like to add. Jack was my favorite, he went over the top for you. He Definitely hands down He went above and beyond to help me, even when I gave him alot sass!

Hold on to your steering wheels, folks, because my CDL training experience at 160 Driving Academy was a real comedy of inefficiency! Picture this: knowledgeable trainers with the power to impress, but a training course that could put a sloth to shame. 160 hours!? It all started with a lack of organization and structure that made me question if the course was designed by a confused GPS. We zigzagged through topics without any clear direction, leaving us more puzzled than a GPS without satellite signal...
Read full review. It was like playing a game of CDL training bingo, but without a winning card. And lets not forget the practical training or should I say, the lack thereof. It was as if they handed us a toy steering wheel and expected us to magically become road warriors. I mean, come on, how can you expect us to master the art of trucking without sufficient hands-on experience? There s just too many students at any one time to make things work. Oh, but the laughs didnt stop there! The administrative staff seemed to be on their own comedy tour, completely oblivious to the concept of timely communication. They were like elusive unicorns, only appearing when they felt like it, leaving us in a state of confusion and frustration. All in all, if youre looking for a comedy show disguised as CDL training, 160 Driving Academy might just be the ticket. But if you want a training program thats efficient, structured, and takes your dreams of becoming a skilled trucker seriously, I suggest looking elsewhere. Save your laughter for the stand-up comedians, not for your CDL training experience!

Jennifer and every instructor at 160 was a huge help getting me my cdl. It was fast, easy, and they really try to work with your schedule.

Short, fun, and effective. I was able to obtain my CDL through this school. Amazon helped by paying my tuition.

I want to give big shoutout to oak creek/ west Allis Range location and all of the instructors/yard Management that they have there now . they want you to win as much as you want yourself to win I was able to hop right into pretrip /skills/road/ testing and obtain my Cdl on first go through Thank you so much for all the time and assistance you guys put in to help me on my journey to success Rick ,Kelly , Dolton, Luis, Tony , Lawrence, Angel , Jerrold . :)
