lit a fire of passion in me from day 1 of orientation in the yard. He was like my drill sergeant, a constant reminder of why I decided to drive a truck. Lawrence, put me into focus to always keep going but never burn myself out. James helped me give my in-cab inspection a flow which was not only vital for my test but for my career. Luis kept me calm and leveled while doing maneuvers. Driving a truck can be very intimidating when you have never driven anything remotely that big but his encouragement always gave me confidence. Tony was an excellent instructor on the road. He made me see the road instead of just driving it and that opened a new world for me. Parish was exceptional when it came to driving one on one. He tested me in every way because he knew I was capable which also gave me more comfort. Russel kept me sharpe in all aspects of knowing my truck. He was very by-the-book which was great because he made sure that I always knew the right way of how things went. Of all the instructors at 160, Gerald was by far the one I owe the most thanks to. I can honestly admit if it were not for Gerald I would not have passed. Since the very first day we met on the yard he made sure I would be not only a good driver but a great one. He brought me through the school of hard knocks and because of his guidance I was a success and will continue to be throughout my career. I highly recommend anyone thinking about pursuing a career in the trucking industry to enroll in 160 driving academy. It will change your life as it has changed mine.
Great experience, the staff were kind and all set you up to pass, at times things may be slow, but as long you are staying atop of your skills, pre-trip, etc. Be chill, stay Chill, great place to get your CDL!

I couldnt have asked for a better training experience with 160 drive academy. The learning process was smooth and enjoyable. Most regards to Tim and Agata. Without them obtaining my CDL would have been a major challenge on my own. Thank you!!!
Agata was great and amazing. They worked with my work schedule. Trained me as much as I needed, helping me look for jobs that work with my schedule. Recommended to anyone especially going out of pocket because it s the lowest pricing around. And work with me as far as financing the payments.
