We had excellent experience with Helms driving school for teen driver education. The instructors were patient and knowledgeable. For behind the wheel, coach pick you up from your home and send back. Coach Pete is super nice. Chrystal did awesome job for coordination and class scheduling. I would definitely recommend Helms driving school.

Helms Driving School was so easy to work with. They were quick to respond, very accommodating and efficient in the whole process. We ve used Helms twice, and both of our children had great experiences. Their driving times went smoothly and they were more comfortable and confident with driving before obtaining their permit. I would highly recommend Helms Driving School.

Crystal at Helms is absolutely a gem! She went above and beyond to help my son (and me) to navigate a difficult process of coming to NC with an out-of-state learner s permit and answered a million questions throughout the process. She also made my son feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel in his brush up lessons! A true professional, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!!

Great experience overall! We researched several options and Helms was the best option for both my teenagers. Chrystal made it very easy and was a great communicator. My two kids said it was a better option for them instead of the other after school options.

I had a good experience with Helms! From the very beginning, they were extremely helpful and patient. My lessons with Ms Melissa were great. She provided me detailed, honest feedback and throughout the lessons was constantly motivating me. I definitely felt an improvement and became more confident on the road. We had a positive experience with communication and the class itself. My son was very nervous about the behind-the-wheel portion but Pete was great about helping him build his confidence. I would encourage you to reach out to Chrystal about the eye exam and the behind-the-wheel portion just to make sure you get both on your calendars in advance.
