Adam is the best instructor I have ever met. I had no driving experience before. When we went to the road test area I had really bad anxiety and he give me a powerful speech to motivate me, and he made me to pass the test in my first try.I am really appreciated what he did for me. And I also owe Thalia a big thank you. She made an amazing schedule for me and helped me to overcome the fear of my driving. They take their job seriously and they run with that business over 50 years. Their success is no accidents. They work really hard as a team. Thank you all.

After failing my road test almost 16 years back and losing the confidence to drive, I came to Zapiti (following the reviews) and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Ms.Thalia and her team delivered their services professionally and made the whole experience smooth and stress free. She is just a pleasure to work with, always supporting and kind. Angel was my instructor for the lessons. He immediately removed all the anxiety and tension I had within minutes of my first lesson. I felt confident again with driving. He teaches you with respect, giving words of support when you make a mistake, instead of condescending you. His knowledge of the roads and maneuvering a car is first class! They are #1! You will pass with Zapiti!

Zapiti is an amazing driving school. I had no driving experience and was anxious on the road, but after about 7 lessons with Angel I passed the road test! Angel is a great instructor; hes calm, direct and patient. Hes very knowledgable about the road and had a lot of great driving tips. The receptionists and Thalia are so kind and accommodating. I would recommend this driving school over any of the others in the neighborhood. They also happen to have the most reasonable prices in the Astoria. Overall, couldnt have had a better experience learning how to drive. Zapiti sets you up for success on the road test!

I had the best possible experience with lovely ladies of this school! Everyone was exceptionally kind and helpful, and my teacher Niki is the most charming and real, but overall knowledgable and 100% devoted to really teach you how to drive. Amazing driver with eye for detail, and she thought me in period of one month more than I hoped for! I passed my exam in the first try and am so excited to drive! Thank you so much for making me a safe and happy driver!

I cannot recommend this place enough! 1) the reception ladies are extremely caring, thoughtful and detail oriented! They worked with me to come up with a good lesson schedule and were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout 2) my instructor, Angel, was amazing! He was knowledgeable, patient, friendly and kind! I passed my driving test after only a few lessons with him - I really am grateful to him as I wouldn t have passed otherwise. I recommend you ask for him as your instructor. 3) the school offers the best rates in the neighborhood 4) the school is conveniently located next to N/W and also close the Astoria Heights test location I only wish I had hired this driving school sooner.

Amazing driving school, i got appointment for road test in less than two weeks. After 2 lessons with Angel i passed road test. Great instructor, gave very helpful driving tips, patience to explain everything, especially for me because i used to drive in Europe.. Highly recommend for driving school and instructor!!

However, I can certainly say that I gained the right amount of confidence to navigate the roads seamlessly only once I started taking lessons with Angel. Angels patience knows no bounds. No matter how many questions I threw his way or how many times I made the same mistake, he remained calm and encouraging while teaching me how to fully grasp control of the vehicle. I had a great experience with Zapiti Driving School. My instructor was Angel and he was the best. I had never driven a car before, and was very anxious to learn to drive. Angel taught me everything I needed to know for the road test AND some additional tips for everyday driving. He was honest but kind with me, and always made sure I felt confident behind the wheel. If you plan on learning to drive, please request for Angel!! He was amazing and would recommend him to everyone. He not only taught me how to drive but made sure I was always comfortable and confident because that s very important, especially during the road test.

Today I received such a great news! I passed the road test from the first time. I got incredibly lucky to have such an amazing instructor as Angel! He is very professional, yet kind and calm.
