In my honest opinion and from my experience from attending Mid city, this is the best if not one of the best training schools to attend. They re very helpful, hands on, and most important honest . Which is needed far as expectations once completing the course. Stay leveled headed focus on gaining experience the job gets greater later as far as pay which I think is valuable information because like me and money other drivers will expect to make big money along with more time home. extra help and advise like that I would expect more and probably quit driving. I appreciate honesty and instructors that actually care about you. If that s what you re looking for, then mid city is for you. Class options are flexible and they also offer zoom, which is clutch when you can t make it in.
Best school in Chicago. Went to others school and was really not sure about getting the CDL but with the people that work here, I changed my mind. Good people such as Lupe, the instructor, help you and motivate you everyday.
Midcity was amazing from start to finish. Everyone in the office is friendly and extremely helpful. Lupe is a top notch instructor. He pushes and motivates you and is an all around an amazing guy. The staff at the yard are awesome they dont want you to fail and really help out alot with how to control and understand your vehicle. I am greatful that I choose mid city.

I got too many nice experiences. I had so much fun besides learning only driving a truck. Our teachers were very good and helpful. Also whenever I call to Office they answer in a min. They are not gonna leave your questions without answers.
I dont have personal experience but I do you know of several people that had success through mid city and spoke very highly of them. My fiance actually got his training from Mid city over 18 years ago. Side note: I have a 2019 26 foot box truck for sale in mint condition, absolutely no issues, only 234K miles, cummins engine and with lift gate. Asking $45k but definitely negotiable with serious offer and proof of funds.
It is a great school, they taught me in a short time and I passed the exam. I recommend it to everyone. Teachers, instructors teach everything and are very friendly and pleasant. It was great to take the exam in the yard where you studied.
Just wrapped up my training at Mid-City CDL, and let me tell you, its more fun than a truck stop diner on free pie day! Christopher, the maestro of schedules, had my training sessions timed better than a Swiss watch. Picked up my diploma (hello, adult world!) and now Im trucking my way to FedEx. Theyre even footing the bill for my schooling talk about a sweet deal! Big thanks to the office squad and a turbocharged shoutout to Igor, the Yoda of the road. If trucking were an Olympic sport, these folks would take gold!
