Citizens Driving School South Side, Chicago

Got my license today thanks to Citizens Driving School. Its competitively affordable and pretty near the Loop. I got 12-hour package (my schedule is tight) with instructor Michael (Mike). Hes patient and tries his best to be clear on what hes saying. Driving needs intense focus so hes strict and sometimes raises voice, because he wants students to focus on driving safely and his instruction. He lets you know what you should know about the test as well. The office lady Michelle is helpful and really nice to talk with, she tries her best to help me make appointments as close to each other as possible since the schools schedule get filled up really quickly.

I got my drivers license today. I passed the road test on my first try! I thought I was going to end up paying for the Extremely Nervous package, but that wasnt the case. I only had to do the 10 hour package. Citizens driving school is amazing! Michelle is so nice and she is on top of everything when it comes to scheduling. My instructor was Mike (instructor 4). Read full review this man is extremely knowledgeable. Hes been instructing for a long time and it shows. Not only will he teach you how to drive, he will teach you how to drive SAFELY. That is the whole reason I wanted to attend driving school. Im about to tell all my friends and family about Citizens Driving School. If a nervous as heck, never driven in her life, 31 year old woman can do it, so can you! Like I said, just listen and trust in Mike!

Learned with instructor Kuo. He was so patient and kind. Passed on the first attempt after his driving class. Highly recommended.

Great driving school with wonderful instructor and friendly staff. My instructor Mike is great. Learning driving with him was very satisfied experience. Not only did I got my licence but also I became confident in driving after the lessons. Would definitely recommend to others!

I had been too scared to drive for 10 years, and without Citizen Driving School, I would never have been able to become this confident and safe driver in such a short amount of time. Mike is the instructor you can trust, and if you follow his instructions, you WILL become a safe and confident driver. He is extremely detailed and experienced, watching and correcting every maneuver you need to make, unlike some of my previous experiences with other schools where the instructors just sat next to me in silence. Because driving is dangerous and just one mistake can cause serious injury or death, Mike will be tough on you to ensure you dont get into an accident. Just like parents who are harsh with their children when it comes to safety, he will show tough love, but in the end, you will know that he is a rare gem who actually cares and remembers the progress of every single student he has had. I feel so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from Mike, and he laid the foundation for my safe driving. Michelle was supportive not only in administrative matters but also in encouraging and believing in me. I was extremely nervous, but she always told me I could do it and not to worry, providing many tips about the exam. She is an expert in scheduling and managing--she doesnt just schedule anything but strategically helps you plan your journey so that you learn driving in the most efficient timeline. Mike (Instructor 4) is great! When booking your lessons, be sure to request him. Hell ensure you not only pass your road test, but also become a skilled and confident driver.

Took classes with instructor 3 Leo Li and passed the road test at the 1st attempt. Leo was strict but reasonable, professional and extremely experienced. He not only prepares you well with the exam but also makes sure you know how to drive safely in real life. I would highly recommend instructor Leo.
