My experience was very poor. The instructor I had could not speak English well at all and it was really hard for me to understand what he was saying. I understand English is not his native language and I am not trying to insult him for that, however if you are in the profession of teaching driving you need to be able to communicate effectively and clearly in English which he was incapable of doing. Read full review he hit my hand lightly, while somebody is driving you really shouldnt hit their hand. Also, since I couldnt understand what he was saying I was confused on which direction to go and when this happened he said woah you really dont know driving. All this really affected my confidence and as it was my first time driving made me very nervous. The unprofessional nature of my instructor as well as his inability to speak English properly made the experience very poor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I had a fantastic experience with Mr. Li! He was extremely professional and punctual, providing invaluable tips that helped me pass my behind-the-wheel exam on the first attempt. Despite having years of driving experience in Sri Lanka, I only needed an hour with him, and it was truly wonderful. Im incredibly grateful for his guidance and support throughout the process.

I had my three classes with Mr. Liu. He was great! Whenever I felt doubtful about my driving abilities, he made me feel confident again. I got lots of practice, and passed on the first attempt of the driving test, with the help of Mr Liu. Highly recommend learning from him.

Thanks to the Cupertino driving school I was able to pass the dmv driving test. The instructors are extremely knowledgable, easy to communicate with and help throughout pointing out any mistakes and gradually bringing up to speed. They also help with driving lessons near the dmv routes. I would recommend the school specially to new drivers.

I practiced with Yanchen Liu just before my test. It was clear he was very experienced with teaching through his promptness, politeness, and knowledge of the ins and outs. Little things such as knowing we didnt have to stand in the dmv line to check-in made a big difference in my experience in the drive test.

My case is a little different as Ive been driving for a while but never learned how to parallel park or back into a driving spot. I booked this place specifically to learn these skills. I had also specifically communicated that I wanted an instructor who was very comfortable teaching this. Unfortunately, the instructor I received seemed like he would be great teaching a beginner how to drive but did not have the confidence or vocabulary to teach me how to parallel park. Read full review to use judgement when asked technical questions/tips. I know English is not his first language but it wasnt nice to hear you just dont have the sense. Overall I think this might be sufficient for a beginner trying to get their license (which is majority of people) but was an utter waste of my time and money. I emerged with less confidence than I did going in.

Spent just one hour with Raymond and he put me to speed with how to ace the Behind the Wheel Test. He is excellent communicator and knows the rules to pass the test at his fingertips. Highly recommend Cupertino Driving School for your California drivers license needs.

Passed my behind the wheel test!! Am so thankful to my instructor Mr Li, his driving lessons helped me a lot in clearing my test. He took me to the actual DMV test route to practice and understand the rules which helped a lot Definitely recommended !!

Raymond was a fantastic driving instructor! I was lacking confidence while driving, and he helped me trust myself and gave me so many tips to pass the test and also to drive safely and confidently afterward. Communication with the school was quick and easy, and they helped me get a test spot earlier than I could have gotten by myself. I would highly recommend their service.
